FAQ's

What are Eyelash Extensions?

Eyelash extensions are synthetic eyelashes made of a special type of polyester fiber. They are attached to your natural lashes using a special adhesive made for this procedure.

What are Classic, Hybrid, Volume styles?

- Classic style means every natural lashes will be attached by 1 false lash.

- Volume style is a kind of 3D lashes. Custom fans made of 3-10 ultra light lashes, are applied to individual natural lashes. The result is volume created for even the barest of natural lashes, without added weight or damage.

- Hybrid style is also a kind of 3D lashes. It is a combination of Classic style and Volume style.

How long will my Eyelash Extensions last?

This depends on:

- How many extensions are applied to your natural lashes. The more lash extensions you have on, the longer it lasts. A full set on average will retain about half the amount at three to four weeks. At this time, you will need to have them refilled. If you don't replace the extensions that have fallen off, the remaining extensions will continue to shed over time. By the end of 5 - 8 weeks, all the extensions will be gone. These are averages only. Some clients experience better retention while others do not.

- Your own lash cycle. It is normal to lose 2-5 lashes per day. Natural cycle is from 2-3 months.

- How are the extensions applied and cared for. Please see the Eyelash Extension Aftercare section on how to properly care for your eyelash extensions to maximize longevity.

- The strength and texture of your natural lash.

- Your lifestyle.

Are Eyelash Extensions safe?

As with any product on the market, true allergic reactions do happen, but are rare (approx. 1%). The symptom is swelling of the eyes within the first 48 hours. Please contact us immediately and we will remove the extensions free of charge for you as soon as possible. Once removed, the swelling will dissipate within a few days, and your eyes will be back to normal without any damage to either your eyes or lashes.

What is more common is eye infection due to improperly washing and caring for your lashes. Not washing your eyelashes the entire time you wear lash extensions is the most common cause of infection. Imagine not washing the head on your hair for weeks or months. This is the most common reason wearers lose their lashes prematurely.

Do Eyelash Extensions cause my natural lashes to fall out?

No, it will not cause your natural lashes to fall out. Remember that, due to the natural growth cycle of your lashes you will find your natural eyelashes shed every 60-90 days as new ones grows in. We recommend getting a fill every three to four weeks to fill in lashes on the new growth.

Once the extensions are removed, your own eyes may appear smaller, your natural lashes look shorter and more sparse because you’ve been accustomed to a full set of longer, thicker lashes.

Can I use eyelash growth products with my extensions?

Lash growth products that contain steroids change the composition of your lashes and accelerate your eyelash shedding cycle, therefore we cannot guarantee the outcome. Natural lash growth products containing peptides are wonderful and will have no adverse effect on the longevity of your extensions.
